Forschungsthema:

Internet Exploration and Cartography
Due to unregulated Internet growth, global information on its topology is unavailable by now. With the scenery of Internet Service Providers still growing rapidly and corresponding interrelations becoming increasingly intransparent (or being kept strictly confidential), technical means for exploring and mapping the Internet are highly valuable - similar to detailed independent real-world maps. Generating such maps is a complex task and the scope of my research.
