Network Security
We are working on different aspects of security, especially intrusion detection, anonymous communication as well as classical security in special networks, say overlay Peer-to-Peer networks.
Measurement and Monitoring
Measurement and monitoring are used to gain information about the current state of a network. A special application is the localization on nodes using wireless communication.
Peer-to-Peer and Overlay networks
Peer-to-Peer and overlay networks are an important research area. Our research interest ranges from the design of overlay networks, their integration into existing systems, to security issues of the Peer-to-Peer paradigm.
Mobile Communications
Cellular mobile networks provided the public with ubiquitous access to telephony. Today, Internet services go mobile and future networks will offer IP-based services directly integrated into the network. Wireless hotspot networks are to converge with the cellular one and thus, provide a simpler access for the user, but a more complex network access for the network.
Future Internet
We are working on different aspects of security, especially intrusion detection, anonymous communication as well as classical security in special networks, say overlay Peer-to-Peer networks.
